Wajah-wajah ceria dan antusias mewarnai suasana pelatihan ‘Berkreasi dengan Kerut Yoyo’ yang diadakan pada Kamis, 23 Februari 2012 di kantor Demedia, Jl. H. Montong 57, Jakarta Selatan. Meskipun pelatihan dijadwalkan pukul 10.00 WIB, para peserta sudah mulai berdatangan satu jam sebelumnya.
Peserta pelatihan kali ini datang dari segenap penjuru mata angin (wuihh dahsyat ya?!). Ada perwakilan dari Bekasi, Bogor, Ciledug, Blok M, Depok, dan bahkan dari Ciawi pun tak mau ketinggalan.
Pelatihan dimulai dengan perkenalan penulis buku ‘Kerut Yoyo, Kreasi dari Kain Perca’, yakni duet maut Tante dan keponakan, Ibu Ristiawati B.D dan Indri. Meskipun sudah sepuh, Tante Ris atau yang akrab dipanggil Eyang Gaul begitu bersemangat memandu para peserta membuat kerut yoyo.
Awalnya, peserta dipandu untuk menjelujur kain menjadi kerut yoyo. Kelihatannya sepele, tapi ternyata banyak peserta yang mengalami kesulitan, entah itu yang benangnya ruwet, yoyonya mengkerut kecil sekali, dan ada yang pletot-pletot (kurang rapi). Namun mereka tetap gigih berusaha. Apapun hasilnya, yang penting semangat.
Pada tahapan selanjutnya, peserta diajak untuk merangkai bulatan-bulatan yoyo hingga membentuk bunga. Tidak hanya itu, mereka pun diajari cara membuat bunga aster dari kerut yoyo ini. Saking asyiknya, tak terasa pelatihan yang dijadwalkan selesai pukul 12.00 WIB ini ternyata mundur hingga satu jam ke depan.
Selain memperoleh keterampilan cara membuat yoyo, peserta juga mendapatkan penawaran diskon spesial untuk pembelian buku-buku Demedia. Tak hanya itu, dalam kesempatan tersebut Demedia juga membagikan 10 buku gratis untuk 10 pembeli pertama. Wah, asyik ya!
