Untuk membuat pizza diperlukan bahan-bahan dan tata cara sebagai berikut.
A. Bahan adonan dasar pizza
– 400 gram tepung terigu
– 1 sdm gula pasir
– 1 bungkus fermipan (ragi instan)
– 215 ml air matang hangat (suam kuku)
– 1/2 sdt garam halus
– 3 sdm margarin cairkan
Campur semua bahan, kemudian uleni sampai rata dan kalis (tidak lekat di tangan). Bulatkan adonan, kemudian istirahatkan dalam waskom sambil ditutup serbet. Diamkan selama 30–45 menit sampai mengembang dua kali ukuran semula. Kempiskan adonan, kemudian bagi menjadi dua bagian. Gilas masing-masing adonan dengan diameter 30 cm. Adonan siap diberi topping.
B. Bahan adonan topping:
– 3 sdm minyak goreng untuk menumis
– 2 siung bawang putih, cincang halus
– 1/2 butir bawang bombay, cincang
– 200 gram daging giling
– 1 butir paprika, buang bijinya, potong-potong
– 100 gram jamur merang, iris-iris
– 1 butir tomat, siram air panas, kupas dan buang bijinya, cincang
– 1 sdt oregano
– 1 sdm pasta tomat
– 4 sdm saus tomat
– 3 sdm saus sambal
– 1 1/2 sdt garam
– 1 sdt gula pasir
– 1 sdt merica bubuk
– 100 ml air
– 175 gram keju mozarrela/cheddar parut
C. Cara membuat:
Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang putih dan bawang bombay sampai harum. Masukkan daging giling, aduk sampai berair. Masukkan paprika, jamur,dan tomat. Tambahkan oregano, pasta tomat, saus tomat, saus sambal, garam, gula pasir, merica bubuk, dan air. Aduk sampai rata dan masak sampai tumisan matang dan air surut. Angkat dan dinginkan.
Bagi tumisan menjadi dua. Ratakan masing-masing tumisan di atas adonan pizza. Beri keju parut, lalu panggang dalam oven bersuhu 200 derajat celsius sampai matang dan kecokelatan. Angkat.
* Keju mozarella adalah keju khas untuk pizza. Keju ini akan mencair dan mulur seperti karet begitu dipanggang. Namun bila tidak ada, bisa dipakai keju cheddar yang diparut.
