Cara Menggulung yang Tepat pada Bolu Gulung

Sekilas, pembuatan bolu gulung ini memang terlihat rumit, namun kenyataannya tidak. Asalkan Anda sering melatih diri untuk membuatnya, keterampilan membuat bolu gulung sama mudahnya seperti Anda membuat keterampilan lainnya.

Meski demikian, ciri khas dari bolu yang satu ini adalah bentuknya yang bulat memanjang. Sesuai dengan namanya, berarti Anda harus bisa membuat suatu gulungan yang sempurna agar bolu ini terlihat bagus.

Hal itu memang terkesan sepele, namun jika tidak hati-hati saat menggulungnya tampilan bolu tersebut bisa terlihat kurang sempurna/retak. Berikut adalah cara menggulung bolu yang tepat.

•    Baliklah bolu di atas kertas roti, lepaskan kertas roti dengan hati-hati, diamkan sampai bolu hangat atau dingin.
•    Bila sudah dingin dan pinggir bolu terasa kering, potong/trim sekitar ½ cm. Olesi dengan selai atau bahan isian sampai rata.
•    Tekuk sedikit ujungnya (bagian ini yang akan menjadi acuan dalam menggulung), dorong kertas roti perlahan-lahan agar bolu tergulung sampai ke ujung.
•    Masih dalam keadaan terbungkus kertas, padatkan dengan bantuan alat atau penggaris, diamkan selama sedikitnya 30 menit (boleh dalam lemari es) agar gulungannya merekat kuat dan tidak mudah terlepas.
•    Bolu gulung siap dihidangkan atau diberi topping/hiasan terlebih dahulu.
